Representing IT Projects Risk Management Best Practices as a Metamodel
Journal Title: Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 5
Abstract
Although still relatively new, the field of IT Governance has its own bodies of knowledge that include various methodologies, frameworks and techniques supported by an increasing growing base of research. IT Project Risk Management has since emerged as its own field. Many frameworks and methodologies were proposed by both practitioners and researchers. A review of the literature about the subject shows that there is a divergence between the two. The practitioners propose a set of good practices from professional environment but the heaviness of the proposed guides does not allow its application and adoption by managers or it’s improvement by researchers. Thus it calls for specific focus on IT governance frameworks best practices modelling in order to reach fusion between practitioners and researchers contributions. In this paper, special attention is dedicated to Project Management Institute’s guides. The main objective is representing IT Project Risk Management best practices as a Metamodel in order to complement different areas of knowledge.

Modelling The Effects of Aggregate Size on Alkali Aggregate Reaction Expansion
This work aims at developing models to predict the potential expansion of concrete containing alkali-reactive aggregates. The paper gives measurements in order to provide experimental data concerning the effect of partic...
A Review on Energy Efficient CMOS Digital Logic
Autonomy of power supply used in portable devices directly depends on energy efficiency of digital logic. This means that digital systems, beside high processing power and very complex functionality, must also have very...
Effect of Single Oxide Fluxes on Morphology and Mechanical Properties of ATIG on 316 L Austenitic Stainless Steel Welds
Tungsten inert gas (TIG) is a wide common process used in fabrication due to its low cost equipment, high quality and accuracy welds but has low productivity related to the low penetration depth in single pass. A new per...
Experimental Implementation of a Low-Cost Single Phase Five-Level Inverter for Autonomous PV System Applications Without Batteries
This paper presents the design and the implementation of a low-cost single phase five-level inverter for photovoltaic applications. The proposed multilevel inverter is composed of a simple boost converter, a switched-cap...
Properties of Waste Tire Rubber Powder
Scrap tires are abundant and alarming waste. The aggregates resulting from the crushing of the waste tires are more and more used in the field of civil engineering (geotechnical, hydraulic works, light concretes, asphalt...
