REPREZENTATÍVNE HISTORICKÉ PRVKY KRAJINY A ICH MANAŽMENT

Abstract

Cultural aspects of the landscape can be comprehended as material reality that is the result of permanent influence of man and his activities on natural components. In Slovakia 3 degrees of landscape changes can be noticed: landscape changed very in - tensively, medium intensively to less intensively. Up to now there have carried over the historical landscape structure with traditional management, that are very valuable not only from national but also international viewpoint (traditional winegrowing, traditional agricultural landscape, traditional mining landscape, landscape with different forms of settlement, buildings etc.). It is necessary to identify and focus on the localities with con- served traditional forms of management and historical landscape structure reflecting particular stages of social development. It is necessary to elaborate the typology of cultural landscape, to map and evaluate the historical landscape structure existing. The effort to conserve the diversity of organisms, ecosystems and landscape ought to lead also to con- servation of cultural diversity of nations and cultures – to conservation of material and spiritual values.
