Requirements for a new bibliography for Polish Newspapers and magazines In the XVIII century

Abstract
Up to the present time no complete statististics have been compiled on periodicals coming out from the prc-partitioned republic in the xviii century. This study depicts another endeavour to present such a compilation constituting a method enabling the further supplementation of the incomplete data based on the current research moidalities especially with reference to the Pomerarian periodicals. Bearing these shortcomings in mind abridged and composite bibliographic descriptions were used. In spite of data deficiency research was supplemented, within the scope of the Polish press in the xviii century, either with new titles or with some elements of bibliographical description.
