Research Issues on Vehicular Ad hoc Network
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2013, Vol 6, Issue 4
Abstract
Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is a kind of special wireless ad hoc network, which has the characteristics of high node mobility and fast topology changes. VANET has become an active area of research, standardization, and development because it has tremendous potential to improve vehicle and road safety, traffic efficiency and convenience as well as comfort to both drivers and passengers. Vehicular networks will not only provide safety and lifesaving applications, but they will become a powerful communication tool for their users. This paper presents the aspects related to this field to help researchers and developers to understand and distinguish the main features surrounding VANET.

Improvement Tracking Dynamic Programming using Replication Function for Continuous Sign Language Recognition
In this paper we used a Replication Function (R. F.) for improvement tracking with dynamic programming. The R. F. transforms values of gray level [0 255] to [0 1]. The resulting images of R. F. are more striking and visi...
The Principle of Programmable Logic Controller and its role in Automation
This paper introduces Programmable logic controller, discusses the topics of PLC. This paper also discusses the role of PLC in Automation engineering which is a cross sectional discipline that requires proportional...
An Enhanced Text to Image Encryption Technique using RGB Substitution and AES
In network security applications, before transmitting data to a remote machine it is encrypted at the sender side using any standard encryption algorithm. Most of the encryption algorithms make use of secret key wi...
Impact of Aquacult ure on Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Water and Soils in the Coastal Tracts of East and West Godavari Districts,Andhra Pradesh, India
The Physico-chemical characteristics of water and soil in aquaculture areas were investigated. Water samples were analysed with respect to PH, Phosphates, Sulphates, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Total Dissolved Soli...
Energy Band and Wave Modes for a Super-Cell of a Defected Periodic Viaduct
In this study, the influence of different defects on the energy bands of a super cell of a defected periodic viaduct (DPV) when considering the pile-soil-structure interaction is investigated. By using the coupled...
