Research on Metro Train Online Flexible Marshalling Technology Based on Wireless Communication

Abstract

Objective In response to the national call of 'carbon peaking and carbon neutrality' polies, the metro industry urgently seeks to develop metro trains with the capability for rapid, efficient, and online dynamic flexible formation without compromising service quality, to increase passenger load during off-peak hours, and reduce energy waste. Method The shortcomings and maturity of existing flexible marshalling technologies are addressed, and a new train marshalling technology based on wireless communication for online flexibility is proposed. Result & Conclusion The working principle and equipment configuration of this technology are elaborated, along with their respective functions. The characteristics and advantages of this technology and prospects for its future development are elucidated.
