Research on residue of organochlorine pesticides in environment

Abstract
The organochlorine pesticides used in the past still exist in the environment. Although the use of organochlorine pesticides has been banned for over 20 years, their residues can be abundant in environmental samples and produce potential effects on human health through the food chains. This paper summarizes the advance of studies on the residue of organochlorine pesticides in environment, while the current situation and the future work on organochlorine pesticides are discussed.
