Research progress on intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis and genetic related diseases
Journal Title: Biomedical Transformation - Year 2021, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
Recently, the genetic factors related to intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS) have become the focus. Many clinical studies show that ICAS have different distribution in age,sex and race, which suggests that genetic factors are important related to the etiology.ICAS has its own independent risk factors, and ICAS is also a related and independent risk factor of ischemic stroke recurrence. The two are related but have different mo‐ lecular heritage background. Our study summarized the correlation of ICAS and the genetic diseases, expect to ex‐ plore the molecular genetic mechanism of ICAS.
