Relations of the researcher of Zaporizhzhia Cossacks, academician Dmytro Yavornytskyi, with representatives of the medical society have been studied. The influence of D. Yavornytskyi on the views, public position of medical workers has been revealed. Information has been provided on the life’s path, professional and social activity of most remarkable medical workers close to Dmytro Yavornytskyi.
