Abstract
In 2008, between 25 May -14 September, the anniversary of 520 years since Voroneţ Monastery, Stephen the Great’s foundation, was built (1488) took place under the title “Voroneţ Holy Monastery”. We found out from the “Glasul Bucovinei” newspaper correspondent in Câmpulung Moldovenesc how the event was celebrated in 1938, the 450th year since Voroneţ monastery was founded and consecrated.
