RESTORASI LAHAN PASCA TAMBANG TIMAH DI PULAU BANGKA

Abstract
The damage caused by tin mining on Bangka Island has increased especially since the development of unconventional mining. The impact of tin mining activities, both conventional and unconventional mining on the physical environment in the form of increasing critical land due to reduced forest, damage to agricultural land and gardens. Efforts to rehabilitate ex-mine land in terms of technical aspects are efforts to restore soil conditions to be stable and not prone to erosion. From the economic and aesthetic aspects of the land, the condition of the soil is improved so that its economic value / potential can be restored to at least its original state. From the aspect of ecosystems, efforts to restore ecosystem conditions to the original ecosystem. In this case revegetation is an effort that can be assessed as covering the interests of these aspects, where reclamation is almost always synonymous with revegetation.
