Restructuring of System Analysis and Design Course with Agile Approach for Computer Engineering/Programming Departments
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2017, Vol 8, Issue 11
Abstract
Today software plays an increasingly important and central role in every aspect of everyday life. The number, size, complexity and application areas of the programs developed continue to grow. Many software products have serious problems in cost, timing and quality. It has become almost normal for software projects to exceed their planned cost and schedule. A significant number of development projects have never been completed and many of them have not met user requirements. Employers are not satisfied with new graduates for a variety of reasons (They do not know how to communicate. They do not have enough experience and preparation to work as a team member. They do not have the ability to manage their individual works efficiently and productively. This work was reconfigured and conducted with Scrum from the Agile methodologies of the System Analysis and Design course, which is especially taught in Vocational Schools and Engineering faculties. The recommended approach is available for software development departments. The suggested approach is applied in System Analysis and Design course.

k-Modulus Method for Image Transformation
In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to make a novel spatial image transformation. The proposed approach aims to reduce the bit depth used for image storage. The basic technique for the proposed transformation is ba...
Supply Chain Modeling and Simulation using SIMAN ARENA® a Case Study
The control of supply chains passes often by identification of various constraints and optimization of the different links and parameters associated to the functioning of the supply chain. To attain these goals, it is vi...
Description Logic Application for UML Class Diagrams Optimization
Most of known technologies of object-oriented developments are UML-based; particularly widely used class diagrams that serve to describe the model of a software system, reflecting the regularities of the domains. CASE to...
Modified Graph-theoretic Clustering Algorithm for Mining International Linkages of Philippine Higher Education Institutions
Graph-theoretic clustering either uses limited neighborhood or construction of a minimum spanning tree to aid the clustering process. The latter is challenged by the need to identify and consequently eliminate inconsiste...
Moon Landing Trajectory Optimization
Trajectory optimization is a crucial process during the planning phase of a spacecraft landing mission. Once a trajectory is determined, guidance algorithms are created to guide the vehicle along the given trajectory. Be...
