Results and analysis of earth tide observations with the borehole tiltmeter in Poltava
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2016, Vol 38, Issue 4
Abstract
Results of harmonic analysis of eight years earth tides observations with the borehole tiltmeter of the Poltava Gravimetric Observatory are presented. Hight-precision parameters of the main tidal waves and Love's numbers h and к which practically coincide with similar data from tiltmetric and gravimetric observations in 25 stations of Ukraine are received. The azimuthal inequality of a factor у in the NS and EW directions isn't revealed. Resonant influence of the liquid core of Earth coincides with calculated theoretically.

Three-dimensional geoelectric model of the Golovanevsk suture zones of the Ukrainian Shield
Thorough three-dimensional deep model has been plotted for the first time for the Golovanivsk suture zone of the Ukrainian shield and adjacent area applying Mtd3fwd R. L. Mackie's program based on geophysical experiment...
Detecting thin layer by using different seismic geophones and special processing technique at an archaeological site in Southeastern China
The properties of geophones are important factors for high-resolution seismic exploration and have great influence on data quality. In this study we will address the problems of ultra-shallow seismic data acquisition and...
Velocity section of the upper mantle under the island arcs of the northern and western outlying parts of the Pacific Ocean
We construct a velocity model of the upper mantle beneath the island arcs in the northern and western parts of the Pacific Ocean for the arrival times of longitudinal seismic waves at seismic stations in these regions. R...
