Results of Effectiveness Destruction of Fragmentation Ammunition Equipped With Proximity Detonators

Abstract

In the paper there are presented the results of evaluating the effectiveness of fragmentation destruction of artillery ammunition and bombs. On the basis of them, the requirements on the amount of activation proximity fuses designed for artillery projectiles and unguided missiles are formulated. Evaluate the effectiveness of fragmentation destruction of artillery ammunition showed that increasing the efficiency of destruction is achieved by explosions at an altitude ranging between <3, 20> m, as a result of the shock fuse replacement on the proximity fuse.
