RESULTS OF PROCESSING OF ASTRONEGATIVES WITH COMMERCIAL SCANNER
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2014, Vol 27, Issue 1
Abstract
Astrometric errors depending on the method of scanning with different spatial resolutions were studied with commercial scanner such as Epson Perfection V750 Pro. Accuracy, time of processing, volume of storage were tested using software package described in (Protsyuk, 2014). The best results of scanning were obtained with a resolution of 1200 – 1600 dpi

THE ELEMENTS OF THE BASIC PHOTOMETRICAL CIRCLES ON THE SURFACE OF THE SPHERICAL PLANET AND DETERMINATION OF THEIR PLANETOCENTRIC POSITIONS
Formulae for determination of planetocentric positions of the basic photometrical circles on the surface of the spherical planet (the equator of intensity, an orthographic limb and orthographic terminator) from the eleme...
HEAT MODELS OF ASTEROIDS AND THE YORP EFFECT
The Yarkovsky–O'Keefe–Radzievski–Paddack (YORP) effect is a torque of light pressure recoil forces acting on an asteroid. We show how this torque can be expressed as an integral of a universal function over the surface...
VARIABILITY FEATURES OF THE RADIO SOURCE OT 081 IN CENTIMETER WAVELENGTH RANGE
OT 081 – BL Lac object, intensively studied for many years in a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum. We used observational data for 1999-2011 years, obtained on radio telescope at Michigan State University (UMRA...
THE INVESTIGATION OF THE FON3 CATALOGUE DATA USING WIELEN METHOD
The method described by Wielen is very efficient provided the data under comparison are independent quantities. In this case, dispersion of position or magnitude differences is equal to the sum of their dispersions, beca...
SUN’S POLAR MAGNETIC FIELD REVERSALS IN SOLAR CYCLE 24
It is known that polar magnetic field of the Sun changes its sign at the maximum of solar cycle. These changes were called as polar field reversals. We investigated dynamics of high-latitude solar magnetic fields separat...
