Review: Current Diagnosis, Treatment and Management of Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy
Journal Title: Annual Research & Review in Biology - Year 2017, Vol 15, Issue 1
Abstract
Polyradiculoneuropathy is a complex neuromuscular condition which has its etiology either acquired or inherited form. There are a number of neuromuscular conditions that can affect combinations of nerve root, junction, and peripheral nerve. Chronic demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy remains an important cause of radiculopathy in children and adults. There have been few studies involving the clinical management and diagnosis of this condition primarily as a result of its rare nature and difficulty in diagnosing, particularly at the onset of the disease. Failure to properly diagnose this condition can result in a prolonged and often protracted recovery process, which can limit a full recovery and lead to a severe functional disability. This review aims to provide proper diagnosis, treatment and management of chronic inflammatory polyradiculoneuropathy.

Bacterial Transformation: What? Why? How? and When?
Transformation is one of the few options for horizontal gene transfer. Though transformation is a natural process, yet only a handful of the organisms are able to perform it naturally. The process of bacterial transforma...
In vitro Study on Thrombolytic and Membrane Stabilizing Activities of Alternanthera paronychioides and Vernonia patula Leaves and Stems
Aims: Currently, there has been extensive interest in the study of medicinal plants owing to minor, less frequent side effects and potential therapeutic activity. Therefore the aim of the present study was to evaluate th...
Physiological Reaction of Erythrocytes’ Micro Rheological Peculiarities in Milk Fed Piglets after the Negative Impact of the Environment
One of physiologically significant and vulnerable stages of productive animals’ (including pigs) ontogenesis is the phase of milk feeding. Microcirculation is very significant for the common functional welfare of a body....
Effect of Soil Amendment Materials on Some of the Physicochemical Properties of Soil and Wheat Yield
Aims: This research was performed for investigating the effect of two kinds of soil amendment materials on physicochemical properties of soil and wheat yield. Study Design: Experimental design was factorial experiments b...
