REVIEW OF MAIN MODELS FOR FORECASTING POWER CONSUMPTION IN MICROGRID

Abstract

The task of predicting the future values of the time series is the basis for planning, managing and optimizing the work in MicroGrid. Forecasting allows to determine the periods of peak loads in order to avoid them or minimize their influence by changing the load modes or connecting additional power supplies. The overview of methods and models for energy consumption forecasting in MicroGrid systems was conducted. The classification of methods and models was proposed. A comparative analysis outlining the advantages and disadvantages of the models, as well as possible areas of their application was carried out.
