Review of The Effect of Climatic Conditions on Development of Erosion Process on Soils of Azerbaijan
Journal Title: Modern Approaches in Oceanography and Petrochemical Sciences - Year 2018, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
The Researchers proved that the process of soil erosion is also closely linked to climatic conditions of the region. Therefore, depending on the climatic conditions of the erosive processes are different in both forms of its manifestation, and the quantitative indicators of development. For example, in the north-eastern part of the Greater Caucasus Highlands powerful deposition of snow cover, high intensity of spring melting of snow and summer rain dozhdepadov the calling intensive lavages and size of its development areas. But here, against a backdrop of high air temperatures during the growing season, pronounced wind regime and extremely low relative humidity of the air is wind erosion. Climate also affects the surface configuration. Humid areas where vegetation cover protects the soil from severe manifestations of water and wind erosion, characterized by soft, rounded slopes.

Surfactant Mediated Biodegradation of Aromatic Hydrocarbons Using Rhamnolipid Producing Bacterial Isolate
Aromatic hydrocarbons (toluene and xylene) are highly water soluble and their contamination with groundwater is a serious issue. Hydrocarbons are growth substrates for microorganisms which use them as a sole source of ca...
Temporal and Spatial Variability of Global Upper Ocean Freshwater Content
Observational salinity data from the Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Program (GTSPP) are used to identify temporal and spatial variability of the upper ocean freshwater content (FWC). First, the optimal spectral...
Laboratory Investigation of the Low Salinity Water Flooding into Sandstone Reservoirs
In this study, we propose to quantify the control of mineral composition and water chemistry on water/rock interactions by using oil during low salinity water flooding of spatially heterogeneous sandstone porous media. A...
Preliminary Study on Fogs in the Guanabara Bay (Rio de Janeiro-Brazil) Associated with Astronomical Tide
Studies on fogs report a great diversity of physical processes involved besides a strong dependence of the place of formation. The different possibilities of the advective, radiative and mixed patterns, associated or not...
Monitoring Arctic Environmental Changes Through the Application of the Next Generation Coupled Regional Climate Model
Global warming is associated with significant polar amplification feedbacks. But how strong is the amplification? Will it be a slow increase or will it accelerate in the coming 20-100 years? This is currently unknown, de...
