Abstract
Her insan yaşamın doğal akışın içinde bir çok kayıp tehdidi ve kayıpla karşılaşmaktadır. Kayıp sadece ölüm olarak düşünülmemektedir. Sevilen birinin kaybı, yakın bir ilişkinin sona ermesi, organ kaybı, iş kaybı ve vatan/bağımsızlık/bir ideal gibi düşünsel-soyut bazı değerlerin kaybı örnek verilebilir. Kayıp olgusunu daha iyi anlamak ve anlatmak için bir çok çalışmalar ve kitaplar mevcuttur. Bunlardan biri, Richard Gross tarafından yazılan ‘Yası Anlamak – Giriş’ (Understanding Grief : AN Introduction) 2016 yılında Routledge basımevinden çıkan kitabı.
