Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 2

Abstract

The article presents the results of studies of the main risk factors for nutritional rickets in children. A retrospective review found that children not exposed to sunlight are more susceptible to rickets because sunlight is the main source of vitamin D. Limited exposure to sunlight is recognized as a significant risk factor for vitamin D deficiency. In addition, the study found that lower average birth weight highlights the complex relationship between body weight and rickets.
