Journal Title: Бюллетень науки и практики - Year 2018, Vol 4, Issue 11
Abstract
Based on the history of the disease, there have been identified the most significant risk factors for the development of metabolic syndrome in children. In the first place — frequent use of fast food. This risk factor has the highest rates of OR=192.0 and PPV=98%. Further in descending OR follows frequent consumption of carbonated beverages (OR=120.46) and unhealthy diet (OR=25.55). Among the genetic risk factors that affect the development of this pathology in children, the presence of hypertension in father (OR=6.674), obesity in mother (OR=4.661) and hypertensive disease in mother (OR=3.127) are statistically significant in children.
