Risk management as a part of state policy in agriculture: a case of EU

Abstract

The factors of risk in agriculture production are analyzed. The role of state in risk management of agricultural production and its influence on risk reduction in EU is investigated. It has been found that the combination of risk management mechanisms on national and Community levels allows significant reduction of risks for producers of agricultural products.
