Abstract
The article reveals the essence and analyzes the significance of non-standard forms of employment. A general theoretical analysis of the question of using call work as a form of non-standard employment has been conducted. The international experience of legal regulation of the use of «on-call» work is analyzed. The contract "zero hours" and "minimum-maximum" are investigated and their features are highlighted as a normative basis for using call work. Challenging work, as one of the forms of non-standard employment, has been proven to be seen as an alternative to unemployment, a step towards a permanent job or a means of accumulating primary professional experience.
