Abstract
Стаття присвячена теоретичним аспектам поняття «інформація». Показано роль інформації в сучасному суспільстві, підприємстві, державі. Визначено, що значний обсяг інформації та забезпечення надійності зберігання сприяла створенню документа. Обґрунтовано роль держави у формуванні інформаційного суспільства, інформаційної безпеки. Акцентовано увагу, що саме інформатизація сприяє забезпеченню національних інтересів, покращенню керованості та підвищенню рівня конкурентоспроможності економіки.
