Abstract
Translation is a tool a vade-mecum, at the service of globalization without translation, globalization would remain elusive. Some of the translator’s tasks include cultural promotion, vulgarization of knowledge, and promotion of peace. It is in fact an agent of development. And the fact that translation and globalization aim to achieve the same goals cannot be overemphasized.
