Journal Title: Слов’янський збірник - Year 2014, Vol 0, Issue 18
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to plunge into the world of art works in order to understand the place allotted to the motive games and puppets. Methodology: the technique of typological research. Works by A. Chayanov, J. Weiss and S. Krzhizhanovskiy are considered in synchronism, but as this article deals with the experience assimilation of such romantics as Hoffman and Odoevsky, diachrony is also taken into consideration. Finding: Chayanov’s and Weiss’s heroes manage to get up above circumstances. It results from the fact that it is important for the writer to investigate identity resources, to present the personality that, thanks to integrity and sequence, finds forces for fight. Krzhizhanovskiy concentrated on the state of peace, driving person „into a corner”. Practical value: the results of the research can be used in literature classes. Results: the appeal of the writers to grotesque was first of all caused by their desire to express rejection of the world dehumanization in which the person turned into a toy, a thing.
