Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present the Ukrainian model of Romantic orientalism. The imago-poetics’ main assumptions of Frontier Eastern, Caucasian, Egyptian are discovered. The ethnic character of an Asian (romanticized Crimean Tatars and Nogai people) is also analyzed.
