Rootless B-Fredholm Operators
Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 20, Issue 5
Abstract
Let T be a B-Fredholm operator on a Banach space X. We say that T is rootless if there is no bounded linear operator S and no positive integer n ≥ 2 such that T = Sn. In this note, some properties of the uniform topological descent are used to give some sucient conditions for B-Fredholm operators to be rootless.

ms*-Modules
Let R be a ring and M a left R-module. A module M is called ms*-module if each maximal submodule is equivalent to a supplement in M. In this work, we focus on ms*-module and study various properties of this module.
Mathematical Analysis of Plant Disease Dispersion Model that Incorporates wind Strength and Insect Vector at Equilibrium
Numerous plant diseases caused by pathogens like bacteria, viruses, fungi protozoa and pathogenic nematodes are propagated through media such as water, wind and other intermediary carries called vectors, and are therefor...
Population Dynamics in Optimally Controlled Economic Growth Models: Case of Cobb-Douglas Production Function
In this paper, we discuss optimally controlled economic growth models with Cobb-Douglas aggregate production function, comparing real per capita income performance in scenarios where the labour (population) growth dynami...
Breaking of Spiral Waves Due to Obstacles
A spiral wave, which is a self-sustaining wave, is believed to be the source of certain types of arrhythmias, which can lead to fibrillation. In this paper, we study a generic model for the propagation of electrical impu...
Computation of k-out-of-n System Reliability via Reduced Ordered Binary Decision Diagrams
A prominent reliability model is that of the partially-redundant (k-out-of-n) system. We use algebraic as well as signal-flow-graph methods to explore and expose the AR algorithm for computing k-out-of-n reliability. We...
