Roundabouts Formation: the Importance of Ideas and Diversity

Abstract
Roundabouts greatly contributed to the fact that our country's roads became safer for pedestrian and cyclist, and more convenient for those sitting at the steering wheel. Traffic safety has become a priority in the activities of Lithuanian roadbuilders and acquires new contours. They are often become challenge, raise issues, but intelligent innovation is spreading and already yielding results. Nevertheless, their appearance, and the idea of their formation have not yet reached our roundabouts. The article deals with the function of roundabouts, the importance of ideas in shaping them, the diversity, and possibilities to apply them.
