РОЗУМІННЯ КАТЕГОРІЇ ПРОСТОРУ В ЛІТЕРАТУРОЗНАВСТВІ ТА ЛІНГВОСЕМІОТИЦІ

Abstract
This work considers the process of understanding the real historical space through the prism of human comprehension in literature, semiotics. The notion of space returns us to the origins of culture, to organic connections that create its integrity and forms of existence, which are not exhausted by works of art. The category of space arose during the studying of the creative process in literature and art in connection with the specificity of the artistic reflection through the visual means of the conceptual picture of the world of a certain people and the individual author’s world view. An art work by its nature is an artistic reflection and a spiritual, practical, aesthetic transformation of reality. If works of art exist in real space and time, then artistic images as ideal objects exist in the ideal space and time. Ideal time, unlike real, is subjective, illusory, conditional and discrete. Artistic space and artistic time are inseparably linked with each other and create the “chronotope” (which means “space and time” in literal translation). It is an important expression of continuity of space and time (time as the fourth dimension of space). The chronotope began to be understood as a formal content category of literature. Distinguish such a feature of the word as semiotic (it’s a sign of the language system). It is known that semiotics is a science that studies the structure and functioning of various sign systems. The basic notion of semiotics is a sign. Linguistic units are signs that convey certain information, a language sign is a special sign that has its own specific features, properties that clearly distinguish it from other non-verbal characters.
