РОЗВИТОК СИСТЕМИ СТРАХУВАННЯ ДЕПОЗИТІВ

Abstract
Страхування депозитів – це один із інструментів, що використовується для захисту банківської системи від банківської паніки. Основна функція страхування депозитів – забезпечити спокій вкладників у випадку, коли банк стикається із фінансовими проблемами. Проте, цей захист викликає багато спірних питань. Спочатку страхування банківських депозитів було запроваджене для уникнення панічного вилучення банківських вкладів і до цього часу воно відіграє важливу роль у вирішенні проблем банківської паніки. В статті розкривається розвиток систем страхування депозитів у світі та різноманітні операційні моделі. Зокрема увага приділяється різним періодам розвитку цих систем, а також мірі їх можливостей та охвату діяльності, включаючи останні зміни, що були запроваджені після глобальної фінансової кризи.
