Rules and Minorities
Journal Title: Studia Universitatis Petru Maior. Series Historia - Year 2016, Vol 16, Issue
Abstract
Ethnic minorities issue remains a complicated one in Europe, despite the good intentions manifested through international agreements. Finding a common denominator was proved hard to get, because of the differences and because of the interests of the national actors were not getting to a point. Here we would need to talk about legiferating about protecting the minorities. Only recognising them it's not enough, should the political opinion be similar in all the different European countries? Today we don't agree about this issue, but Europe can't survive only by finding the balance between the interests of the majorities and the respect of the minorities
