Saline Infusion Level Detection and Heart Rate Monitoring System
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 11
Abstract
Now days, it is not possible for an attendant to stay beside the patient all the time. This has increased the need for proper monitoring equipment. The project aims to modify an existing safety model employed in domestic field. The aim of this project is designing a microcontroller based patient monitoring unit. The heart rate, temperature and pressure of the patient are monitored by the doctor using IoT. When there is a change from the predefined nominal rate a buzzer goes off and the doctor from his cabinet makes sure that appropriate actions have been taken. This is done using the hyper terminal software. The advantage of this automated detection/alarm system is that it offers faster response time and accurate detection of an emergency in turn leading to faster diffusion of the situation, compared to manual methods. This is a very compelling reason that justifies designing such a safety system.

Design of FPGA Controlled Closed Loop BiDirectional DC-DC (BDC) Converter for Renewable Energy Storage Applications
This paper describes the development of Bi-Directional DC-DC converter (BDC) for solar application. BDC can be used either as a Buck converter or either as a Boost converter. Designed converter in this paper is controll...
Lagrangian Decomposition Approach Based Voltage Security Constrained Unit Commitment
As the electrical industry increases many problems arises in controlling the generating units. Unit commitment decides which unit to operate during a certain period time. The objective of the unit commitment is to find...
Models for Handling Uncertainty in Fetal Heart Rate and Cardiotocogram (Ctg) Analysis
This paper concerns the models for handling uncertainty in fetal heart rate and Cardiotocogram (CTG) analysis. Methods for handling imprecision and uncertainty in computer- based analysis of fetal heart rate patterns an...
Free Vibration Analysis of Differernt Materials under Crack as a Cantilever Beam
A simple and unified approach is presented for the vibration analysis of a cantilever beam. Natural frequency and damping ratio are calculated with an experimental process. Estimating damping still remains as one of the...
Optimized Energy Conserving Using Selective Forwarding Algorithm (SFA) for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN)
In a low TTL based wireless network, the node drops all its energy before actually transferring the data given to it. This serves as a drawback where the data is not transferred completely resulting in bandwidth wastage...
