SALIVARY GLAND PATHOLOGIES AS DETECTED ON ULTRASOUND EVALUATION OF NECK IN A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL IN SRINAGAR GARHWAL

Abstract

The present record based study of salivary gland diseases as assessed by ultrasound was performed in department of Radiology in HNB Base government teaching hospital situated in hills of Garhwal in the state of Uttarakhand in year 2016 and 2018. The study was to assess the burden of salivary gland diseases in the hills of Garhwal. Ultrasound is easily available and convenient to use to evaluate superficially located salivary glands in head and neck region.
