Sanctions for abuse of authority by a person providing public services

Abstract
A definite achievement of Ukraine’s criminal law is that the idea of differentiating criminal responsibility in public and non public administrative areas was implemented in Ukraine at the legislative level. However, the existing approach to the evaluation of anticorruption policy as a goal of the criminal law policy to ensure the institutional development of society, led to shortcomings in the sanctions for certain parts of Article 345-2. It is proposed to bring the characteristics of sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the Common Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the European Convention on Human Rights.
