Abstract

The article deals with some theoretical issues of professional training of prosecutors. Also analyzed is the direction of preventive and educational work, which is carried out by the governing and supervisory bodies in relation to the employees of the prosecutor’s office. The doctrinal concept of professional training of the prosecutor’s office is indicated. The essence, content of professional training of the prosecutor is investigated. The concept, the purpose, the main tasks and the concept of preventive-educational work with personnel of the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine are established. Every employee of the prosecutor’s office is an integral part of law enforcement in Ukraine. Thus, the level of professional competence and the effectiveness of the implementation of the statutory functions of the functional duties requires the prosecutor’s staff to have certain moral and ethical and professional personal qualities. In order to ensure an adequate level of professional training of employees in the prosecutor’s offices, a system of continuous education and advanced training is in place. The activities related to the training and education of staff for the prosecutor’s office are one of the elements of its proper staffing. The organiation and activities of the prosecutor’s office are based on the activities of each individual employee. Accordingly, the competence and efficiency of the implementation of their functional duties imposed by them determine the level of competence and the quality of the activity of the relevant prosecutor’s office. The issue of improving the efficiency of the organs of the prosecutor’s office, which in turn requires the search and selection of new approaches to selection, training, placement, adaptation, education, training and support of the relevant specialists. The implementation by the prosecutor’s office of Ukraine of activities aimed at establishing the rule of law, strengthening the rule of law, protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens and the interests of the state depends to a large extent on the effective functioning of the staffing system, in particular on the proper level of educational work. The basic principles of educational work in the prosecutor’s office include: legality, systemicity, continuity and compulsory education process; the diversity of forms, methods and means used to ensure the efficiency of education; an individual approach to the formation and development of the necessary business and personal qualities in the prosecutor’s office; the objectivity of the evaluation of the work of the prosecutor’s office, demanding and fair; scientific substantiation. The need for psychological education and assessment of the prosecutor’s staff is dictated by the specifics of the prosecutor’s activities, which imposes high demands on the personal qualities of the prosecutor.
