SEA PORTS AS KEY LOGISTIC CENTERS IN THE WORLD TRADE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article deals with the functioning of sea ports as the main logistical centers in the process of effective development of world trade in the global economic system, the authors provide a feasibility study on the operation of seaports, analyzed the following indicators: volumes of maritime trade in the world, the structure of transshipment of goods by world sea ports, volume of transshipment of cargoes by various types of sea transport, container handling by world and Ukrainian seaports.
