Securing Internet Banking Authentication Through oPass

Abstract
Internet banking is the term used for describing a process in which, a client performs the banking transactions through electronic means. This type of internet banking removes the necessity of physical movement of customers to their financial positions. This kind of banking uses the internet as the chief medium of delivery by which banking activities are executed. But there exist some security issues in case of internet banking. The accounts in websites are vulnerable to hacking, phishing, malwares and other illegal activities. This paper proposes a method for securing internet banking authentication through the user authentication protocol, called oPass.
