Security Analysis of Image Cryptosystem Using Stream Cipher Algorithm with Nonlinear Filtering Function
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2012, Vol 3, Issue 9
Abstract
In this work a new algorithm for encryption image is introduced. This algorithm makes it possible to cipher and decipher images by guaranteeing a maximum security. The algorithm introduced is based on stream cipher with nonlinear filtering function. The Boolean function used in this algorithm is resilient function satisfying all the cryptographic criteria necessary carrying out the best possible compromises. In order to evaluate performance, the proposed algorithm was measured through a series of tests. Experimental results illustrate that the scheme is highly key sensitive, highly resistance to the noises and shows a good resistance against brute-force, Berlekamp-Massey Attack and algebraic attack.

Barriers in Adoption of Health Information Technology in Developing Societies
This paper develops the conceptual framework of barriers faced by the decision makers and management personnel of health sector. The main theme of this paper is to give a clear understanding about the adaption barriers o...
A Low Complexity based Edge Color Matching Algorithm for Regular Bipartite Multigraph
An edge coloring of a graph G is a process of assigning colors to the adjacent edges so that the adjacent edges represents the different colors. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to find the perfect color matching...
A Modified Feistel Cipher Involving Modular Arithmetic Addition and Modular Arithmetic Inverse of a Key Matrix
In this investigation, we have modified the Feistel cipher by taking the plaintext in the form of a pair of square matrices. Here we have introduced the operation multiplication with the key matrices and the modular arit...
IoT Technological Development: Prospect and Implication for Cyberstability
Failure to address the risk poses by future technological development could cause devastating damage to public trust in the technologies. Therefore, ascendant technologies such as artificial intelligence are the key comp...
A Hybrid Technique Based on Combining Fuzzy K-means Clustering and Region Growing for Improving Gray Matter and White Matter Segmentation
In this paper we present a hybrid approach based on combining fuzzy k-means clustering, seed region growing, and sensitivity and specificity algorithms to measure gray (GM) and white matter (WM) tissue. The propose...
