SELECTED ASPECTS OF APPLICATION OF ALUMINIUM ALLOYS IN BUILDING STRUCTURES
Journal Title: Structure and Environment - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 4
Abstract
The article describes the basic issues related to the use of aluminium alloys in civil engineering. The classification of aluminium alloys according to PN-EN standards is presented. The advantages and disadvantages of aluminium elements in construction are indicated. In addition, examples of buildings made of aluminium alloys are also featured.

GREEN ARCHITECTURE AND NATURAL-CULTURAL TEAMS – IN THE TEACHING PROCESS
Green architecture and natural and cultural groups are a unique kind of space with various functions – contemporary and cultural (including sacred). Most often they are characterized by high aesthetic and functional adva...
THE INFLUENCE OF PARTICULAR PARAMETERS ON THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE IMPLETION OF REGENERATIVE HEAT EXCHANGER
The article describes the process of unsteady heat transfer that occurs between the impletion of regenerative heat exchanger and the surrounding air. A mathematical model of this phenomenon and its exemplary solution usi...
IMPACT OF TEMPERATURE ON KINEMATICALLY ADMISSIBLE FAILURE MECHANISMS OF ENERGY-ACTIVE SEGMENTS OF STEEL HALLS
The paper analyses the impact of temperature on kinematically admissible failure mechanisms (KAFMs) of energy-active segments of steel halls. The static scheme of segment construction allows the separation of tilt and be...
ANALYTICAL DETERMINATION OF AERODYNAMIC RESISTANCE OF THE SKELETAL TELECOMMUNICATION TOWERS
Computational determination of aerodynamic resistance for high truss structures like telecommunications towers is the subject of this study. Normalized procedures were presented with an example of an existing structure c...
APPLICATION OF THE FIRE RESISTING SUSPENDED CEILINGS
This paper presents the rules of performing fire resistance tests and classification of suspended ceilings constituting independent barriers and suspended ceilings constituting horizontal membranes protecting the floor/r...
