SELECTED ASPECTS OF LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASPECTS PROTECTION OF MINERAL RESOURCES

Abstract
The article presents the current state and functioning of the geological administration at the district level and presents analysis of summary of problems related with geological supervision on the open cast mines excavating useful minerals in the entire country area. It raises the problem of illegal exploitations as well as the cooperation of mining control administration units and concession offices in the aspect of fighting with this phenomenon. Present geological and mining law, water law and construction law do not regulate this problem satisfactorily. The paper discusses legislation important to the economy and the preservation of common mineral deposits.
