Selection of design parameters and control programs at initial stage of designing launch vehicles
Journal Title: Технічна механіка, Техническая механика, Technical Mechanics - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 3
Abstract
The problem of the optimization of the basic design parameters and programs of the motion control of liq-uid launch vehicles is formulated. Programs of the motion control of space launch vehicles are determined in the class of polynomial functions resulting in the reduction of the problem of the optimal control theory to a simpler problem of nonlinear mathematical programming. Two methods of the solution of the problem are used: the Monte Carlo method and the method using regression models for the dependence of the end functional on the vector of the basic design parameters of the launch vehicle. For various end problems the basic design parameters and programs of the motion control are optimized using the methods proposed. The results from this study can be useful in developing methodical support for the solution of problems at the initial stage for designing launch vehi-cles.
