Selenium and Thyroid Disorders

Abstract

Information about the importance of selenium for thyroid homeostasis, the role of selenium deficiency in the pathogenesis of thyroid disorders, as well as the effectiveness of using selenium-containing drugs in the treatment of thyroid pathology of various origins is given in the lecture.
