Semilocal Convergence Newton Method Applied to Kepler Equation: New Results
Journal Title: Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science - Year 2017, Vol 21, Issue 3
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to consider as a starting point the value E0 = π in the theorems of semilocal convergence of Kantorovich, Gutierrez, α−theory of Smale and the α−theory of Wang-Zhao, to compare the convergence conditions obtained. Once set E0, one should calculate the parameters listed in the statement of these theorem. So, we will generalize the study of Dilone-Gutierrez for the case E0 = M. Numeric and graphic calculations were obtained by applying Mathematica V10.

Computational Model of Prime Numbers by the Modified Chi-square Function
An innovative approach that treats prime numbers as raw experimental data and as elements of larger and larger finite sequences {Pm}≡{P(mp)} is shown in the present report. The modified chi-square function Xk2(A,mp/xo) w...
Determinants and Inverses of Symmetric Poeplitz and Qoeplitz Matrix
In this paper, we define symmetric Poeplitz and Qoeplitz matrices and give explicit formulae for the determinants and inverses of these matrices by constructing the transformation matrices.
A Financial Prey-predator Model with Infection in the Predator
A modified predator-prey model is proposed with logistic growth in both prey and predator populations and an infection in the predator population. This model uses ideas from the original biological Lotka-Volterra model i...
The Behrens-Fisher Problem: A Z Distribution Approach
We propose the Z distribution to tackle the Behrens-Fisher problem. First, we define the Z distribution which is a generalization of the t distribution, and then find the pdf and cdf of the Z distribution. After that, we...
Log Prediction of Wireless Telecommunication Systems Based on a Sequence-To-Sequence Model
Nowadays people are becoming increasingly dependent on wireless networks. Taking precautions and acting in advance to avoid problems of wireless networks have already shown great importance. In analyzing problems of wire...
