Sensor-Network based Intelligent Water Quality Monitoring and Control
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Engineering & Technology(IJARCET) - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 4
Abstract
Recent advances in communication technology, especially wireless sensor networks have inspired numerous remote sensing and control applications. Here, we focus on the monitoring and control of water quality in natural water bodies such as rivers and lakes. An intelligent system that combines monitoring and actuation capabilities is designed. Major technical challenges such as sensor selection and control over wireless networks are discussed and appropriate algorithms are adopted based on system design requirement

Survey on Data Integrity in Cloud Computing
Data outsourcing to cloud storage has recently become a trend. Economic advantage is the significant reason. A large number of clients or data owners store their important data in remote servers in the cloud and it...
Improved Shortest Remaining Burst Round Robin (ISRBRR) Using RMS as its time quantum
Round Robin (RR) performs optimally in timeshared systems because each process is given an equal amount of static time quantum. But the effectiveness of RR algorithm solely depends upon the choice of time quantum....
Audio-Based Action Scene Classification Using HMM-SVM Algorithm
Nowadays, there are many kind of video such as educational movies, multimedia movies, action movies and scientific movies etc. The careful analysis and classification of movies are very important. For example, movi...
A Modified Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm for Document Clustering
Clustering is the division of data into groups called as clusters. Document clustering is done to analyse the large number of documents distributed over various sites. The similar documents are grouped together to for...
