Several key points about improving the quality of crop science application for the National Natural Science Foundation of China

Abstract
National Natural Science Foundation Projects (NSFC) have been become one of the main evaluating indicators for the academic capacity of researchers. In all parts of basic information contents and writing the report texts of crop NSFC applications, author has proposed some suggestions and experiences according to himself application processes, including single research objective, suitable contents, exactly logic relation and intense description on the previous studying data. These suggestions will help to excellently improve the quality of NSFC applications. Five questions (logical relation, silly mistakes, sentence repeat rates, representative papers or books, and typesetting quality), which usually occurred in applications, have been pointed out.
