SHEVCHENKO’S “ARTIST” IN “APOLLONIAN” OPTICS OF PETERSBURG TEXT: GENESIS, STRUCTURE, TYPOLOGY, SEMANTICS

Abstract
The following presentation is dedicated to forming of a plethora of original texts, all of which played a great role in Russian / Ukrainian literature exchange. Sevchenko’s “The Artist” can easily be attributed to his endeavors into Peterborough ‘s texts. The article examines the hierarchy of mikrotexts, which combine the image of Petersburg. It helps to understand the meaning of dialogical relations in St. Petersburg’ text. Attention has been focused on the importance of the” Kolomna” line in this text. This line is based on the cliché of physiological sketch and vividly demonstrates the image of gutter society in St. Petersburg’s image The research embarks on furthering our knowledge of semiotic make-up, autobiographical detail, and anthropological findings of the time.
