Abstract
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the legal regulation of issues of gender equality and observance of human rights, which are enshrined in a number of international documents ratified by Ukraine in the context of personnel provision of the security sector entities of Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine and the practice of its application, proposals are made for further improvement of personnel provision during the reform of the security sector of Ukraine, based on the foundation of the rule of law, adherence to the principles of gender equality in recruitment and admission to service / work, preparation and passing of service / work in each sector of the security sector (since gender equality concerns human rights).
