Short history of the first board <br /> of governors of the “Evangelismos” Hospital (1884–1900)

Abstract
In this paper details are given of the First Board of Governors of the activities for the Evangelismos Hospital (1884–1900). The reasons resignation of the Board are also presented. The members of the Board of Governors supported the position that the main reason for their resignation was their poor co-operation with the matron of the Evangelismos Ηospital, the Danish Sister Christine Rinhard and they made complaints to Queen Olga. However the Queen accepted the resignation of the members of the first Board of Governors and appointed a new Board of Governors of the Evangelismos Ηospital.
