Sigma-demicontractivity and Strong Convergence of Mann Iteration
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2018, Vol 25, Issue 2
Abstract
The problem of additional conditions ensuring the strong convergence of Mann iteration for demicontractive mapping is investigated. A critical analysis of σ-demicontractivity condition is performed showing the ap-plicability and how strong this condition is.

System for Monitoring and Analysis of Vibrations at Electric Motors
The monitoring of vibration occurring at the electric motors is of para-mount importance to ensure their optimal functioning. This paper presents a monitoring system of vibrations occurring at two different types of elec...
Optimisation of the Start-up and Operation Regimes of Cooling Water Pumps of a High-Power Hydro Generator
It is necessary to make sure that the operation of cooling installations of hydro generators could be made in conditions of enhanced security so that the probability of defects occurrence during their exploitation be pra...
Teaching Platform for DC Electric Drives
This paper describes an educational platform for teaching DC electric drives. The drive has as objective an efficient system for controlling the speed of a DC motor driven by a chopper. The chopper is manufactured using...
Fatigue, Wear and Cracking of Dental Materials
Evaluation of the method of failure and crack propagation in dental metals, ceramics and polymer composite materials associated with occlusal activity are associated with contact, twisting and sliding modes. Such loads c...
Modal-Based Design Improvement of a Butterfly Valve Disc
The dynamic behavior control of a butterfly valve is important because, when one of the valve disc natural frequency is close to the frequency of vortex shedding, which appears when the valve is fully open or partially...
