Significancy Test For The Control Parameters Considered In Weld Bead Geometry Optimization For Gas Metal Arc Welding Process Using Taguchi Method And Anova Technique
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 12
Abstract
Here in this work, an attempt has been made to find the interaction between control parameters and weld bead geometry for fillet welding in mild steel specimen using Gas Metal Arc Welding process. Accordingly control parameters have been adjusted to find the optimal bead geometry. Initially the equations involving control parameters and bead geometry were developed by multiple regression analysis method. The ANOVA technique is then employed to calculate the significant difference between the means of the control parameters ,Also this justifies the range of the control parameters considered for the experiment.

Equilibrium and Kinetics of Adsorption of Cationic Dyes by STISHOVITE Clay – TiO2 Nanocomposite
Abstract: In this study an attempt has been made to study the feasibility of removal of methyl violet using Stishovite-TiO[sub]2[/sub] nanocomposite as an adsorbent. The commercially available Stishovite and TiO[su...
Effect of Air Entrainment on Compressive Strength, Density, and Ingredients of Concrete
The micro air bubbles in concrete mix act as fine aggregates which lead to reduction of the aggregates. The reduction of fine aggregates will cause reduction of water required for concrete mix without impairing...
Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Technique for Optimization of End Milling Process
In this paper an attempt is made to develop a new Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Technique (QIET) that is general, flexible and efficient in solving single objective constrained optimization problems. It generat...
